Review: Milo – things that happen at day / things that happen at night (Hellfyre Club, 2013)
The first time I heard Milo, I felt the same kind of elation that I felt for the debut album by The Streets – the freshness of the new and unknown, plus that special something that makes you want to listen to it again after the initial excitement wanes. However, unlike Mike Skinner, Milo's follow up to his debut (I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here), is still interesting and engaging.
Review: Multiphonic Rodent – Civilisation EP (2013)
Parts of Multiphonic Rodent’s – solo project by multiinstrumentalist Erki Hõbe – new EP Civilisation came to fruition in organic farms while denying civilisation. Incidentally, Western civilisation is the centre of this album's concept.
Review: Uku Kuut – Estonian Funk (Big Tree Studios, 2012)
It's the Eurovision final; this is the last thing I want to spend my Saturday night with and so I turn off the freakshow on the telly. I slip on Uku Kuut's Estonian Funk, crank up the bass and let myself be gently carried away by the Umblu prelude “Angel”.
Review: Odd Hugo – Odd Hugo (Odd Hugo Music 2013)
It's as if Odd Hugo had been invited to someone's funeral that was cancelled at the last minute, but they have decided to play nonetheless.
Bullion: sonic brilliance from London
Nathan Jenkins alias Bullion is a young man from London whose musical territory consists of hip hop, 80s synthpop, chillwave, krautrock and other genres that we could go on with for a few more lines. He juggles with weird samples, builds smooth hang out anthems and flawlessly mixes together J Dilla and Beach Boys.
Gallery: Three Days of Positivity
The three-day long camping and music marathon at Positivus Festival in Latvia, Salacgriva has come to an end for this year. Rain predicted for the festival was almost nonexistent and even the super wind, that made people fight with their hair and often brought up a question whether your tent would be at the same place where you had left it, could not bring the levels of positivity down to the ground.

One of the bands to perform at Schilling festival this Saturday is an Icelandic duo Just Another Snake Cult. City Festival Loftas Takes Over Vilnius
Loftas Fest in turning the idea of a standard Lithuanian or Baltic music festival upside town. The general understanding about the festival taking place in the nature near the sea or lake is changed by Loftas throwing a festival in the industrial Vilnius. Second year in a row the festival is offering a possibility to the Lithuanian youngsters to meet the day after under the warm care of their mum’s. The gates of the summer in Vilnius is going to open already this weekend on the May 31st to the 2nd of June.
Tropically cloudy Zebra Island
Wader talked to Zebra Island and got some answers from their vocalist with a radiant and peal signature-smile, Helina Risti and the multi-instrumentalist responsible for the group's sonic creation Rasmus Lill, according to whom Zebra Island is surely a fantastic place to where they hope to take their listeners.
